I have been way out of the underwear loop recently, as I’ve just simply been busy doing other stuff. I haven’t bought any new undies recently either, so it was time today to place some new orders. One of them is a new brand I’ve been curious about.

So, I bought a couple pair of undies from Dhedral (http://www.dhedral.com/). They claim to IMPROVE YOUR ASSETS using their ANGLEFIT technology. Their undies look like a Y-back thong built into either a brief or trunk (bought one of each), and you get to pick your back-side’s shape (95, 115, or 135 with 95 being a full backside and 135 has a less accentuated rear). I have a bubble-butt, so I went with 95° size Small (my normal size undies).

They are made in Italy, and if you act now, you can save 10% by signing up for their newsletter and get free shipping by spending more than 60 euros (about $75 US).

I’ll submit my review in the coming few weeks after I receive them in post and try each of the two fits out.

Hello everyone! I am posting these pics of me wearing a singlet. I have NEVER worn a singlet until now! They’ve interested me (courtesy of a good friend Eric Starker), but wasn’t sure how I would look in them with my ‘imperfect body’.

I know the images we see of guys wearing singlets are the ”perfect ‘porn’ bodies” with abs that won’t quit and muscles that seem to go on forever! As I don’t have that type of body, I have returned to the gym (after a year of health issues), getting back in shape, and feeling good about myself. So, why not flaunt what I have currently?

Although I’ve had the singlet for nearly a month, I was reluctant to wear it. Why? See above. So today, on my day off, I woke up this morning heading to the gym. I built up my confidence and decided to wear it (the singlet) to see what it looks like. These are the results. I like the way I look in it, especially my bulge that you can see!

Today I am very proud of myself…why? My partner and I returned to the gym-today-after nearly 12 months of health issues. Our health is great and we are elated to be working out again. Upon returning from the gym, getting cleaned up, and preparing to run my errands on my day off, (believe it or not) I wanted to wear a pair of bum-chums! There were many choices to choose from. So, I decided on the Fruity ‘Blue-Berry’ Hip-Brief!

As many of you know, I haven’t worn a pair of briefs since I a very long time (Since I was 10 years old. I am now 40 years old.). In my experience-since my adulthood-I found wearing briefs very restrictive, caused lots of chaffing (with my mega thighs, LOL), and were typically uncomfortable. Well, I am here to tell you that the Fruity Hip Brief has convinced me to start wearing briefs again! Why, do you ask? Here’s the review….

1. Love the fit. The Fruity Hip-Brief really hugs your body in all the right places! The pouch keeps your ‘junk’ intact with minimal movement. The stretchy fabric is ideal for people who are on the go (work, travel, etc.) where you have the freedom of movement WITHOUT having chaffing issues!

2. Love the color, baby! The pair I’m wear is Blue-Berry. It’s spring in the Northern Hemishpere which means one thing in the fashion world: light, pastel colors! I am not a fan of pastel at all. I typically wear darker colors: mostly black (Sorry, it’s the old school goth in me!). However, I’ve been told that I look good in shades of blue! I hope you think I look good in this color!

3. It’s highly wearable. As I mentioned above, the fabric is stretchy. Whether you are skinny, muscular, have a few pounds, or whatever, the fabric WILL conform to your body-type while (1) keeping its shape and (2) still looking sexy!

4. You can wear with your favorite clothing. The awesome thing about wearing underwear is you can wear them with your favorite pair of pants, jeans, dress clothes, shorts, and so forth. I love to advertise what I’m wearing. Now, don’t confuse that with being (1) obsesses with labels and (2) I’m self-centered. Quite the opposite. I am in the business of blogging about what I like so that other guys can ask about the brand and where they can go to purchase them. So, when I wore the Fruity Hip-Briefs, YOU can see them in order to ‘gain interest’! It’s about the self-advertising, baby!

Now, the all important questions is this: Will I wear briefs more? Yes! Why not start with wearing bum-chums?

Unless you live under a rock, jockstraps are freaking hot! Jockstraps are no longer relegated to workouts at the gym, playing baseball, and wrestling. Now, jockstrap are fashionable, comfortable, and many guys wear them on a daily basis like they would a pair of briefs, boxer briefs, or thongs.

All of this begs the questions: Why are jockstraps hot? In my opinion, they give you support in your ‘junk’, they naturally lift your buttock, you can wear them at any form of clothing (shorts, jeans, dress slacks, gym gear), and they are just freaking comfortable all around!

Happy Saturday everyone! In part 2 of my bum-chum series, my focus (and review) is their jockstraps. Particularly, the “Fruity Pink Peach” Jockstrap. My wonderful partner, Charles, is my muse. He was gracious enough to wear the jockstrap for me and gave his thoughts on them.

I will admit…I was little jealous that Charles was wearing them. When we received the underwear, the first thing I wanted to wear was the jock. Charles wore them instead (For those of you that don’t know, we own over 50 pairs of jockstraps and counting)! So, I definitely wanted to blog about Fruity Jockstrap!

I asked Charles how was the jockstrap, here was his response:

“The jockstrap was very comfortable! The fabric on the pouch was very soft and felt silky. The fit was great, the look was great…you can easily move around in them. Also, they are really hot!”

If you’re an owner of the Fruity Jockstrap (or will, in the future), the fabric is soft, touchable Tactel. If you are unaware of what Tactel is, it’s a “man-made fibre made from nylon…which is light-weight, soft, and dries very quickly-8 times quicker than cotton.”  That is a very good feature, especially if you are using this jockstrap for workout at the gym or a ‘workout of a different kind‘.

Let me tell you what I think of the Fruity Jockstrap on my partner:

1. Love, Love, LOVING the tiny waistband on his waist! For those of us that don’t have six-pack abs (or a flat mid-section), wearing a jockstrap with a smaller waistband is your best friend! Why? It gives the illusion that you have a thinner stomach when you don’t, baby. It’s all about the camoflauge, guys! :-p

2. See how it ‘naturally lifts’ up the butt! Charles works in an office and wears dress slacks. When he wore the Fruity jock, it gave him a natural curve without resorting to so-called ‘enhancement underwear’.

3. It gave him nice bulge without being vulgar and overtly sexual. His junk  stayed in place and nothing moved around.

4. Overall, he looks great in them. Then again, I have a bias in my partner’s favor!

With 2012  in full swing, I’m very excited for the return ‘Everyday Male’ review series. If you aren’t familiar with the ‘Everyday Male’ series, I blogs about those of us that (1) loves designer underwear, (2) doesn’t have the  ’perfect body’, and (3) share what I like…regardless of body-type.

My last official review blog was on December 31, 2011. I covered my ‘wish list’ for 2012  in underwear! The majority of has come true, which brings me to my latest review…

My partner is my muse today. Charles is wearing the “In2cooler ‘Ice’ Briefs”:

My partner, Charles, isn’t too hip on wearing briefs. After wearing the the In2cooler briefs, however, he’s warmed to the idea of wearing briefs more!

I asked him what he liked and/or didn’t like about the briefs. Well, all of the feedback was positive:

He said the fit was fantastic, they were very durable, and you can wear them at anytime. Charles works at a desk for 8-10 hours a day. He’s accustomed to wearing boxer briefs and jockstraps with lots of movement. In his estimation, briefs tends to me more restrictive. Well, the In2cooler brief is anything but restrictive! The mesh design give you great movement, great support, and they are breathable!

Just like Charles, I am not a much brief wearer for the same reasons. Yet, I always approach life (and especially trying new things such as wearing new underwear) with an open mind! With that in mind, I’m wearing the “Tool Belt” briefs:

 

 

 

 

 

When I wore the Tool Belt briefs, I instantly fell in love with them! First of all, I love the really kick-ass triangular designed of the front: It has the look and feel of a jock, yet you’re wearing a brief! The pouch really holds ‘your junk’ in place just like a jock. I love the back support…it really lifts your behind giving great support and a fabulous look when wearing your favorite pair of jeans, shorts, or work pants. I love the fabric because it’s made of mesh! Who doesn’t love mesh? LOL!

Two questions for you all. 1. What would you keep in your pocket? 2. What color do you like the best? After reviewing these awesome innovative briefs I decided I personally like keeping my hand in my pocket! HA! Not kidding… But on a serious note the pocket is perfect for your key when your at the gym, or even for a condom if your feeling lucky. It’s easily accessible and in the perfect location if you know what I mean.

In regards to question two I would have to say my favorite color is the blue… My favorite color is red but these blue briefs aren’t the typical blue. All four colors are very vibrant and are sure to make you stand out in the locker room! I know its belated and cliche, but I will say it anyways: HAPPY NEW YEARS! 

I hope your 2011 was a great year and your 2012 will be better! My 2011-for the most part-was fairly good: I started blogging for Undie Fan, my partner and I have been together for over 5 wonderful years, we have fortified our friendships, and we got tons (and I mean TONS) of underwear!

I want to kick start 2012 off with an awesome review, specifically about one of my (and your) favorite brands: 2(x)ist! My introduction to 2(x)ist started with one of my best friends, Matthew Chase. It is his ultimate favorite brand of underwear!

I am wearing the 2(x)ist Sport Trunk and Sport Jock. I will say that 2(x)ist really outdone themselves with the new Sports Collection! Released in Late 2011, their goal was simple:

“Gear up for action with 2(X)IST SPORT briefs, trunks & tanks. A contoured fit in stretch cotton teams up with gym-ready details for a winning combination. Play on. 2(X)IST SPORT.”

Now, my partner and I love working out at the gym, but haven’t worn them to the gym. We have a more practical use for them: wearing them as everyday wear. Also, the 2(x)ist Sports Collection IS FREAKING HOT! Here’s why…

1. I’m loving the styling of the Sport Jock. The ‘triangular’ design on the front contours to your junk without sacrificing comfort.

2. I am a huge fan of the gigantic logo on the front! When you are wearing your favorite pairs of jeans, slacks, shorts, or gym gear, people will know your ‘product placement’ !

3. When wearing the trunks, the legs has an elastic band that holds you legs in place. Don’t you hate it when you wearing ‘some’ trunks and boxer briefs and they ride all the way up to your crotch when you sit up, stand up, or get up? That is a huge annoyance to me, but not with the Sport Trunk. That additional support keeps the legs in place, no matter your movements.

4. I love the design of the straps for the jock. They really lift up your ass, while having that ‘near-brief feeling’ minus wearing an actual brief. 

I didn’t find any issues or limitations with either pair of underwear. They were excellent in every way!

Now, the important question: Who can wear these? Anyone, silly! I am 6ft, 210 lbs, and muscular. I can pull them off…so can you!
