Two questions for you all. 1. What would you keep in your pocket? 2. What color do you like the best? After reviewing these awesome innovative briefs I decided I personally like keeping my hand in my pocket! HA! Not kidding… But on a serious note the pocket is perfect for your key when your at the gym, or even for a condom if your feeling lucky. It’s easily accessible and in the perfect location if you know what I mean.

In regards to question two I would have to say my favorite color is the blue… My favorite color is red but these blue briefs aren’t the typical blue. All four colors are very vibrant and are sure to make you stand out in the locker room! Recently I received the above two pairs of undies from Dirty Fukker. If you haven’t heard about Dirty Fukker before you should check them out. I know its belated and cliche, but I will say it anyways: HAPPY NEW YEARS! 

I hope your 2011 was a great year and your 2012 will be better! My 2011-for the most part-was fairly good: I started blogging for Undie Fan, my partner and I have been together for over 5 wonderful years, we have fortified our friendships, and we got tons (and I mean TONS) of underwear!

I want to kick start 2012 off with an awesome review, specifically about one of my (and your) favorite brands: 2(x)ist! My introduction to 2(x)ist started with one of my best friends, Matthew Chase. It is his ultimate favorite brand of underwear!

I am wearing the 2(x)ist Sport Trunk and Sport Jock. I will say that 2(x)ist really outdone themselves with the new Sports Collection! Released in Late 2011, their goal was simple:

“Gear up for action with 2(X)IST SPORT briefs, trunks & tanks. A contoured fit in stretch cotton teams up with gym-ready details for a winning combination. Play on. 2(X)IST SPORT.”

Now, my partner and I love working out at the gym, but haven’t worn them to the gym. We have a more practical use for them: wearing them as everyday wear. Also, the 2(x)ist Sports Collection IS FREAKING HOT! Here’s why…

1. I’m loving the styling of the Sport Jock. The ‘triangular’ design on the front contours to your junk without sacrificing comfort.

2. I am a huge fan of the gigantic logo on the front! When you are wearing your favorite pairs of jeans, slacks, shorts, or gym gear, people will know your ‘product placement’ !

3. When wearing the trunks, the legs has an elastic band that holds you legs in place. Don’t you hate it when you wearing ‘some’ trunks and boxer briefs and they ride all the way up to your crotch when you sit up, stand up, or get up? That is a huge annoyance to me, but not with the Sport Trunk. That additional support keeps the legs in place, no matter your movements.

4. I love the design of the straps for the jock. They really lift up your ass, while having that ‘near-brief feeling’ minus wearing an actual brief. 

I didn’t find any issues or limitations with either pair of underwear. They were excellent in every way!

Now, the important question: Who can wear these? Anyone, silly! I am 6ft, 210 lbs, and muscular. I can pull them off…so can you!

2(x)ist isn’t just for the ‘perfect body’. It is for anyone that loves wearing a damn great pair of underwear! Sizes range from Small to X-Large. Colors are White, Cobalt Blue, Red, and Black. Price range is between $20-28.

Happy Saturday and Happy New Year to everyone! 2011 has truly been an interesting year: From ‘Occupy’ protests all over the world, raising the ‘debt ceiling’, to rebellions/uprising in Egypt and Libya, near financial meltdowns, and the ‘Real Housewives’! 2011 wasn’t dull, whatsoever!

When the end-of-the year happens, you will hear people reflecting on what the year was and what they will do better in the next year! I, for one, am not fond of New Year’s Resolutions. I find them cliche and most people break them within 2-3 weeks of making them.

With that in mind, I would like to do something slightly different in remembering 2011 and what I look forward to in 2012. Instead of doing the mundane ‘Top 10 lists’ and ‘What will you do better in 2012′ nonsense, I want to present you with (1) what was my greatest influences of underwear in 2011 and (2) what do I hope for in the upcoming year! Without further adieu, here is what influenced me:

 

3. Blogging for Undie Fan.

On February 17, 2011, I started my very first blog for Undie Fan. Let’s get real: I am neophyte to blogging. I have always been a highly opinionated person, but never did it in print or electronic form; it has always been vocal. When I was presented with the opportunity to convey my love and appreciation of everything men’s designer underwear, I jumped like a jack-rabbit! Instead of providing a ‘rubber stamp’ of approval, I wanted to be different. My approach came from the ‘everyday male‘, i.e. the average guy that loves underwear but doesn’t have the cliche ‘perfect, athletic, porn star bodies’ that most guys (1) envy, (2) don’t have, or (3) don’t want. With my partner Charles and YOUR awesome support, the approach paid off and became a success!   Because of the success, it helped me spin-off two new blogs on Undie Fan: The FAN and Juxtaposition Series. With the two new series, YOU, the fans showed off what you have in your favorite brand(s) of  underwear and I was more than elated to post them!

I also was provided access to the Undie Fan Facebook and Twitter pages which broadened my horizons of accessing YOU, the fan with information on the latest sales, styles, news, and reviews!

On September 29, 2011, one of my all-time favorite underwear brands, McKillop, released a sleeker, hotter, softer, and sexier version of their Classic Pouch: Version 2.0! On October 15, 2011, I posted my “Everday Male” review about this hot underwear. The Classic Pouch, Version 2.0 were awesome when they came out, they are awesome now, and they will continue to be awesome! My partner and I love wearing them and all McKillop has to offer. Their products are hella sexy, it shows off your bulge, and we own over 10 pairs (and counting)!

AND NOW FOR MY #1 INFLUENCE OF 2011:

1. Release of the new Nasty Pig Knockout Jock!

If you don’t know by now, Nasty Pig is ALSO one of my all-time favorite underwear brands! While my partner and I were on vacation in Las Vegas, Nasty Pig launched their superhero-inspired Knockout Jock on May 17, 2011! This jockstrap has to be one of the most hottest and most comfortable pairs of underwear I’ve ever worn! You can wear them under your favorite pairs of jeans, shorts, or whatever floats your boat!

I did an extensive blog about Nasty Pig back on October 15, 2011 and why I think Nasty Pig is a very important brand in the underwear industry!

There you have it! Now, what does 2012 have in store? I don’t know. The future is unknown entity. The better questions should be: What do you hope for in 2012?

I hope for the following:

1. Nasty Pig releases another kick-ass style of underwear that will amaze the masses!

2. McKillop continue growing their brand (as they are) and becomes THE industry standard and leader.

3. Men (Bi, Gay, Straight, Whatever), REGARDLESS OF BODY-TYPE, will be comfortable in their own skin and wear whatever underwear that feels sexy to him! 

4. Broker a deal will Baskit and 2(x)ist Underwear companies so I can profile/review them more…I’m serious!

5. The typical world peace, goodwill towards men, loose more weight, and all that crap!

Designer Men’s Underwear…LIKE IT, LOVE IT, WANT MORE OF IT!  At current, my partner and I own over 100 pairs of underwear, and counting! Nothing is sexier than wearing our favorite jockstraps, boxer briefs, pouches, trunks, and so forth!

Happy Saturday everyone! I am very excited about today’s blog entry. Thanksgiving is literally knocking on everyone’s door and Christmas is right around the corner. I know many of you are planning to purchase underwear very soon for a loved for Christmas, their birthday, for the upcoming (and dreaded) Valentine’s Day (LOL!), or for those intimate moments. So, why not blog about my favorite brands to give you some shopping ideas? LOL! Some of these brands you know, some you don’t, and some I hope you will get very acquainted with!

I’ve compiled this based on the following ‘personal’ criteria:

1. Functionality: Can you wear them with dress pants, shorts, jeans, etc?

2. Comfort/Fit: Are then snug? Do they look great in the right places? 

3. Durability. Can they endure a long day at work? Going out? Workouts at the gym? Lounging around?

4. Website access/Customer Service: How easy is it to navigate? Methods of payment (PayPal, etc.)? Shipping Methods? Return policy?

5. Quality: Will they last a the ‘test of time’?

6. Photogenic properties: Do they look good when you photograph them?

7. Cost.

My next pair I am planning to own (if my partner gives the ‘go ahead’) is the Leather ‘Chuck Taylor’ All-Stars!

Since their 1920 beginnings to now being owned by Nike, Converse has expanded their brand into clothing as well. One of interesting bit of clothing is underwear. Yes, I said it: UNDERWEAR! But, that begs the question: Converse makes underwear?

I wish I was making this up, but Converse has delved into underwear making! Now, it isn’t on the caliber of designers like Gregg Homme, Andrew Christian, Ryan Killop, et. al., but it seems they’ve carved a tiny niche in to the big underwear pie!

Ever since I started blogging for Undie Fan on February 17, 2011, my blogs centered on underwear reviews (The “Everyday Male” series), posting pictures of YOU wearing your favorite underwear (Fan and Juxtaposition series), and various posts regarding some really great underwear at kick-ass prices!

Yet, throughout all of that, I never focused (per se) solely on the brand(s) that we (my partner, Charles) wears, why we love it, and where can you get it. Until just recently, I wanted to profile the brand(s) to you and why I like it! My new blog series is entitled “Hot Brands”. The new series will focus on the brands that you and I like and why!

My first entrant in the new series Nasty Nasty Pig. Some of you wear Nasty Pig. Some of  you never heard of Nasty Pig! Well, Nasty Pig isn’t just a place to purchase hot underwear; they are more than that! That eloquent statement isn’t hyperbole, it’s appropriate! Happy Saturday everyone. I hope everyone is having a great weekend! The quote I cited is fitting because it has been several months since I posted a review under ‘The Everyday Male’ banner. During my tenure as a blogger for Undie Fan, my focus shifted from reviews to focusing on YOU in my Fan and Juxtaposition series. I am back, albeit temporary, in order to review one of my favorite underwear brands: McKillop Underwear!

McKillop underwear, beyond any ‘shadow of a doubt’, is one of my favorite and best brands I’ve been introduced in years! Ryan McKillop, founder and head designer, is a wonderful guy with a great vision and great sense of style. Which brings me to today’s review. On September 29, 2011, McKillop underwear released the latest version of the uber-hot Classic Pouch: Version 2.0!

My partner, Charles, and I own several pairs of  McKillop underwear (mostly the Power Fitness Jocks  and the Classic Pouch, Version 1.0)…and they are smoking hot! Version 2.0 is better than smoking hot…THEY ARE MAY-JOR! Here’s why:

1. Fabric: If you’ve ever purchased any McKillop underewar (pouches, jocks), the pouch portion that holds and lifts you up are made from mesh. This time around, Version 2.0 comes in two different fabrics: Mesh and Modal! The modal is a 92% Modal 8% Lycra mixture that has a slick, silky feel. The mesh is a 90% Nylon 10% Lycra mixture, which is finer and softer than ever!

2. Design/Style: Ryan pulled out all the stops here. In the previous incarnations, the “McKillop logo” was affixed on the side. Not this time around! The logo is right on the front so you know which brand of underwear are wearing! Also, the pouches are much wider and ‘everything can fit in it’s right place’.

2. Fit/Comfort: When Charles (my awesome partner) and I wore the new pouch, it was the most comfortable pair of underwear we’ve ever worn! The fabric is soft, the strapless/backless band really holds in place. You can wear the pouch with dress pants, work pants, or anything type of pants. The mesh version has a built-in cock ring for extra enhancement! I wore this pair to work a few days ago; it felt as if I went commando! That is how sheer and comfortable the new pouch is. At the same time, it showed off my bulge, not that I need it, LOL! As you can see with my partner, it shows off his junk as well!

Overall, the Classic Pouch 2.0 can do no wrong! Ryan McKillop has really outdone himself this time around and I love everything he has produced! We own several of McKillop underwear and we do not plan on stopping there!
