The Men’s Underwear Store has the whole collection of Private Structure Spectrum. Recently they sent me a pair of these striped hipsters. I really enjoyed wearing the pair. It’s perfect for everyday wear and are quite comfy. As the site states these undies do run small! I normally wear a medium and so they send me a large. If I were to reorder a pair I think I would order an X-Large. These undies are made mostly of cotton so therefore theres not a whole lot of give.
Most of the line is your typical basic pair of undies. The colors are great and I personally love the striped hipster because they are more sporty. The collection ranges from $12 to $16 which is extremely affordable! Check them out today and try out a pair! Keep the sizing issue in mind.

2(x)ist, in my humble opinion, is one of the premier companies that brought men’s fashion underwear to the mainstream. They offer many designs, styles, fabrics, colors, and all of this in front of the general public in retail and specialty internet shops. What is nice to see, however, is that 2(x)ist doesn’t stop innovating, and their new SLIQ line should raise the bar for this brand, and they are really going to have to reach high to beat this new high.
From 2(x)ist about SLIQ http://www.2xist.com/site/collection-detail.asp?wd=100024:
With extraordinary, provocative fashion, 2(x)ist redefines “sexy” for the modern man Fall 2010 with the introduction of the revolutionary collection called Sliq (sleek). The introduction of a Sliq Brief and a Sliq Trunk lead the way, both featuring a lower rise than before, super slim side widths exposing the thigh, and an (x)-treme contoured pouch for more support and better profile enhancement. The micro-fiber waistband is tipped with a bright red stripe, leading to the engineered 2(x)ist logo in a sexy and mysterious shadowed layout.
First of all, h/t to Men’s Underwear Store, where I bought my pairs. They ship in discreet packaging same day, and even though it was shipped USPS First Class, I ordered on a Friday and received on a Monday! For this review, I’m not going with my previous good / bad / verdict, because the verdict is these are some of the most comfortable undies I have ever worn from 2(x)ist.
The rise: One of my complaints with some recent lines from 2(x)ist, and one of the reasons some of their undies don’t end up at the front of my rotation, is that they are very inconsistent in what they call low rise. The SLIQ line, however, absolutely delivers in the low rise department!
The pouch: I can’t say it’s particularly (x)-treme, especially when you have tried the Obviously or Andrew Christian Almost Naked, but it’s more of a pouch than 2(x)ist has ever put out before.
The fabric: Made from a 90% cotton 10% spandex blend, these are about what you would expect. They both cling well, stretch just right in the right places (you can imagine here), and are extremely soft and light.
The wear: Both the brief and trunk have a wear that feels like you aren’t wearing anything, yet you are really well supported. I’d say about a couple hours into the day, regardless of the cut I was wearing, literally forgot I had any underwear on! This is how underwear is supposed to fit.
2(x)ist offers many colors and cuts for this line, so you can get a pair (or more) in whatever tickles your fancy! What I can say, however, is that you will most certainly not regret your purchase, so get out there and buy one today!

Andrew Christian’s undies are forward thinking when it comes to fabric, design and function! His lines have been widely recognized as a quality up-scale brand, and he never fails to deliver a quality product, regardless if you purchase from his store or through a variety of resellers.
This particular brief is from the Almost Naked line and features a “hang free” front pouch that your goods are supposed to fall naturally into. The pouch is promoted as: Virtually eliminates sticking, squashing, re-adjusting, sweating and chafing.
I have worn this brief several times, and quickly found it to be one of my new favorites! It has held up perfectly through several normal washings. I find the 94% bamboo 6% spandex fabric blend to be particularly strong, while being extremely soft to the touch. The waistband is made from Andrew Christian’s famous anti-muffin top elastic and boy does it deliver on that front! The pouch is sufficient to keep the boys comfortable for all day wear, to the feel that you aren’t wearing anything at all! This brief’s rear to stay nicely in place (no wedgies) to keep the almost naked feel in the rear too.
The good: Everything about this pair of undies! The pouch, the rear’s wear, the color is sexy, the waistband doesn’t push anything out, and the wear is like nothing at all.
The bad: Since it is Andrew Christian, it’ll put you out around $30.
The verdict: The premium price is worth every penny, as this is a quality brief that you will enjoy for a very long time!

For those familiar with the Obviously brand of undies, you know they are known for their extreme pouch. The brand has been evolving with various designs, and the one I tried (the Low Rise Trunk) is a classic design.
This is the first Obviously pair of undies I have tried, but thanks to the wearing experience, I have more on the way. The fabric is a very thin, yet durable (has survived several wear / wash cycles perfectly), modal/lycra blend that is soft and silky on the skin. When pulling these on, they claim that all your goods will fall naturally into the pouch, and they aren’t kidding! It keeps everything comfortably out of the way, and with this particular trunk, felt like literally wearing nothing up front!
The good: Amazing cut and fabric, incredibly comfortable for all-day wear, no riding in the back, and the goods up front are well-supported, yet feel free.
The bad: Fabric is a little thin and the pouch doesn’t “boost” you, it simply holds you up front very comfortable.
The verdict: This trunk has an amazing feel and has quickly risen to one of my favorite pairs to don!
