The picture that emerges shows that men may be much more diverse in their underwear choices than you might think…

We tend to think that when it comes to men it’s usually a question of boxers or briefs. But did you know that after polling 3,800 men, it was revealed that 24 % of the respondents actually wore thongs, jockstraps, or simply went commando?

Another common myth is that men are too lazy to shop for their own underwear… Not true, according to the polls. 88% said that they purchase their underwear all on their own. And when they do, half of them re-stock their top drawer with undies bought online. That’s right, only half of all the men said they buy their underwear in a brick store.

And with summer right around the corner, only 24 % of the surveyed men will wear board shorts. The vast majority (63 %) of the participating men will be wearing either speedo-type swim briefs or tight swim trunks.
